Aquamarine, named from the Latin for seawater, is the pale blue-to-blue-green member of the beryl family.
In folklore it is linked to the sea, and sacred to the sea-god Neptune.
It was believed to calm the waves and bring protection and good luck to sailors and fishermen.
Aquamarine represented not only the sea, but also the heavens since the sky reflected in the water. It was believed that this reflective property could reveal hidden aspects of reality and things deep within our souls. This made aquamarine a popular stone with healers, shamans and mystics.
Aquamarine is the birthstone for March and Pisces, and the stone for the 19th wedding anniversary.

Full description
Dainty blue and silver bracelet made from genuine Aquamarine beads and sterling silver, with a pair of sparkly Swarovski crystals in 'aquamarine' blue.
The centre of this delicate bracelet features a trio of 6mm natural Aquamarine beads, to either side of which I have set a 4mm Swarovski 'aquamarine' bicone bracketed by 2.5mm sterling silver rounds, and a trio of micro-faceted, AA grade Aquamarine beads.
The bracelet continues with a pair of 10mm x 1mm sterling silver tubes, separated by more faceted Aquamarine trios and culminates with a 2.5mm sterling silver and 4mm natural Aquamarine round bead.
The bracelet fastens with a sterling silver lobster clasp.
This pretty, sparkly bracelet measures approximately 7 inches (17.5cm).
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
