This linocut was originally made as a commission for a customer, together as a pair with another related print. It was a view of the Wiltshire downs outside the village of Market Lavington near Devizes. A very enjoyable project.

Full description
A stylised landscape inspired by the rolling down-lands of Wiltshire. It is late summer & harvesting is nearly completed. The colours are soft yellow / golds and green. In the foreground is a stubble field cut with textures and patterns by the tractor. A pale coloured path leads up the hill beyond a line of dark trees. The hill is terraced by ancient field markings known as strip lynchets.
