So I have been playing with different surfaces on my raku vases. I am a thrower by passion so trying to make things with different finishes is a continuing experiment. This little vase has a cobblestone effect added part way through throwing. It has been fired with a dark copper based raku glaze, there are some bright metallic bits on it as well. As always raku satisfies the pyromaniac tendencies, and the need to play with chemistry.
