Garnet is the traditional birthstone for Capricorn and the month of January.
The term Garnet actually applies to a group of minerals that are related in composition and structure, but differ in colour.
The dark red that we most associate with Garnet is known as Pyrope Garnet, like the nuggets I have used here.
The lighter, more raspberry pink of the bicones is known as Rhodolite Garnet.
Garnet is also the stone for the second wedding anniversary.

Full description
These pretty drop earrings feature a trio of dark red pyrope Garnet nuggets topped with a 5mm, top quality, 'powder rose' shell pearl and a 4.5mm AA rhodolite Garnet bicone, separated by 2.5mm sterling silver spacer beads.
The beads are threaded onto sterling silver pins and hung from sterling silver ear-wires that are stamped '925'.
These dainty earrings measure approximately 1 inch (2.5cm), excluding the wires.
Your earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
Price includes delivery within mainland UK.
