Where I live in North Wales, buzzards are a familiar sight flying above the woods & hills. I imagined a pair soaring on the thermals above the ruins of Dinas Bran castle. The crumbling walls are set within the remains of an Iron Age hillfort, above the town of Llangollen. The hill often looks dark & brooding, but in my version is flooded with the colour & light of a summer day.
