Walking along the Cornish beaches, or any beaches in fact, always feels like a bit of a treasure hunt. Once I've taken in the views, you'll always find me beach combing the shoreline.
Usually I'm on the look out for sea glass, but also tiny pebbles, shells, and anything else that catches my eye.
This little Limpet shell had such a wonderful texture, and was just the perfect size. I couldn't resist it!
I take a mold from my finds, so these little beauties can be returned to the sand.
And treasure isn't the only thing I take form the beach - While I'm there I do a small scale beach clean, and take home as much as my arms will carry.

Take a piece of the Cornish coast with you the ethical way with this adorable little limpet shell pin.
Although described as a lapel pin, this could be used as a tie tack or simply added to your favourite sweater.
Cast from a real shell using silver clay, and soldered onto sterling silver findings.
The tack has a pinch back fitting.
Size: 13mm x 10mm
The shell has been oxidised and polished back to enhance the shells wonderful texture.
This item is not hallmarked as it is not large enough to require it by law. The Sterling Silver findings are marked with a 925 stamp.
Upon ordering your pin will be wrapped in tissue paper and tucked into a cardboard cushion shaped box, tied with a ribbon.
Dispatch will be with Royal Mail.
