All manner of folklore, devilry and Dark Christmas traditions from the world are some of my favourite things. Cornwall, like Wales, also has a tradition around festivities, documented in Cornish Christmas Guise plays of including an obby oss character, constructed as a mast beast with an articulated horses skull on top. The Cornish oss typically has a dress of tatters and appear very often are very tall, dance and run at speed, and are full of mischief. They are accompanied by a teazer who does their best to keep them under control, for everyone's safety, but anything not nailed down or tightly fastened may find itself a tasty morsel of these beasts.

Full description
Water-based black, matte ink print on white paper, hand-hand pressed with a spoon and touched up by hand also to give it a consistent tone all over.
(Watermark only included to protect the online image, the print will only have edition number, title if needed and it will be signed by myself.)
Size of the image is approx. 4.5 x 8 cm
Size of the mount is approx. 11.5 x 15.6 cm
Limited edition of 50 prints of this design. Delivered mounted and wrapped in cellophane.
All UK-bound items are sent 1st class delivery, signed for. Please contact me if you would prefer another method. All overseas-bound items are standard delivery, again, if you wish to have it tracked, please contact me and I will sort this out, please expect a higher postage cost for this.
To care for you print, please keep it out of direct sunlight and away from moisture.
