There is some controversy over what kind of stone Kambaba Jasper actual is.
Due to its appearance, some believe it to be a form of fossilised algae called stromatolite.
However analysis by the EPI, the German institute for gemstone testing, places it as volcanic in origin, which means it cannot be a fossil as these occur in sedimentary rocks rather than volcanic.
Whatever its origin, once polished it is a truly beautiful and unique stone.
A deep, forest green, with overtones of sage, and black swirls that create strange and wonderful patterns and orbs that resemble eyes.

Full description
This bracelet is made using different sizes of Kambaba Jasper beads, a unique green and black stone of volcanic origin with fascinating swirling patterns and 'eyes'.
The focal stone is a beautifully polished and patterned 13x18mm oval bead, that I have set between 6mm sparkly Swarovski 'erinite' bicones, highlighted with 2.5mm gold vermeil rounds.
The circle is completed with 6mm and 4mm round beads, dotteds with gold vermeil to add a warm gleam.
This unusual and beautiful stretch bracelet measures approximately 7 inches (17.5cm).
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
