Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. I love colour and I am particularly drawn to the delicate prints you can find in Liberty Tana Lawn, a super light weight cotton. However, sometimes I find myself attracted to less colourful prints and I buy them and never use them. So the midnight series was born, little creatures in blacks and greys with dark prints that please me. This vintage Liberty tana lawn was a real treasure find, stunning and unusual midnight print. Teamed with a pewter Essex linen, it glows xx

Full description
This is Cleda, a tiny midnight mouse. She is a hand embroidered mouse with little leather ears and tail. She is dressed in a Liberty tana lawn cotton called Penderghast, the midnight version, a black ground with pencil crayon wild flowers in coral and bright red. She has coordinating underskirts in warm grey Essex Linen, black tulle mesh and cream cotton lace bloomers. Her dress is finished with organza ribbon, tiny buttons and little leather shoes. She is a black mouse with black ears and tail, grey wishkers and an embroidered black nose.
She is softly stuffed with rose petals in her stuffing for a gentle scent and she has a tiny piece of rose quartz at her heart. She has a brass ring to her back in case you want to place her on the wall.
She stands 7 inches tall
She is a folk doll for grown ups and sadly is not suitable for children to play with.
