Jade has been used by man for thousands of years.
During the stone age, it was worked into weapons, tools, ornaments.
Green Jade became a valuable, significant and prized stone in China, New Zealand and America.
In Chinese tradition, Green Jade symbolises the five virtues of humanity - courage, modesty, justice, compassion, and wisdom.
The Maori cherished heirloom pendants, known as hei-tiki, that were carved from green Jade to reveal the spirit inside, and imbued with the wisdom of their ancestors.
