Wrong Side of Sol presents the art of crochet - beautiful crochet with vibrant colour combinations and eye-catching design. All my artworks are unique.
I just love the way these colours bounce off each other!
Playing around with colour interactions is how Wrong Side of Sol started, creating the first in the Colour Field Tensions series in May 2022.
I’ve had in mind to use the green, pink and red in the same way, so, when the right kind of green and pink showed themselves to me, I just had to make it!

Beautiful crochet granny squares, combined to illustrate the colour interactions in all their combinations.
This funky item has been created using the colour theme of red, pink, and a vibrant green, and is only the second in the ‘Colour Field Tensions’ series. Please see my shop for the original.
This piece is unique due to the inherent differences with each handmade piece. I also sign all my framed works with the date of production and title: this item is 'Colour Field Tensions, Watermelon no.1'.
Mounted on foam board this item has extra depth, allowing the crochet to really shine!
Presented in a standard white box frame with wall mounting (see photos) measuring 34x34cms and approx 5cm deep.
Crochet measures approx 16cmx22cm.
