I make journals and notebooks using leather rescued from shoe factories and the furniture industry. This collection is made with rescued leather spines and the last offcuts of papers from other projects, making a selection of unique notebooks.

Full description
A6 handmade notebook.
This handmade journal features a solid front & back covered in lilac gingko leaf paper, with a spine made from grey upcycled leather. The pages have been hand stitched to the leather with waxed thread, which allows the spine to be nice and flexible.
There's a thin leather cord attached to the spine, which can be used as a page marker. Keep the journal closed using the leather loop and toggle.
The insides are upcycled 140gsm cartridge paper, made from old takeaway coffee cups! (www.jamescropper.com/about/innovation/coffee-cup-recycling) It's a lovely quality for writing or drawing in ink or pencil.
128 blank pages (sides).
A6, measures approximately 15 cm x 10.5 cm when closed.
Please note that the spine material is upcycled. Any creases, marks or folds are a sign of it being pre-loved. This particular bit of leather was rescued from a shoe factory.
