Handmade Ceramic Mug with Firm Friends illustrations
Thrown on the potters wheel in strong white stoneware, with a pulled handle and glazed in vintage white glaze with dark flux decorated rim.
Original illustrations are from Ben Rhodes at House of Hawks and feature a hare
and sighthound sitting either side of a hand pressed and painted love heart motif. The images are taken from his original drawings and fired onto my pottery in a third firing to make them robust and part of the pottery piece.
These measure approx 10.5cm in height and comfortably hold 300ml of your favourite hot drink. They are fired to 1250 degrees - strong, robust and waterproof pottery.
Food safe and microwave safe, and although dishwasher safe it is always best to wash handmade items by hand.
