This Shop is taking a break until 9am Monday, January 13th, 2025. My apologies for any inconvenience. Thank you very much for your support.
All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.
Thank you very much for your support.
Inspired by the seashore of my home island of Mersea, with it's stony beaches and little islands of marsh grass in amongst the sand.

Recycled sterling silver sheet has been cut into a wide teardrop shape reminiscent of a seashell shape. This has been hand stamped with a graduating pebble shoreline pattern which leads to the sea...which has been formed by using the curved edge of a hammer to create the waves.
thin recycled 9ct yellow gold has been hammered with the straight edge of a hammer to evoke the long grass found along the coast, blowing at an angle in the wind. These are soldered onto the silver 'shoreline'. Long pieces of recycled sterling silver wire are soldered onto the top of the teardrop shell shape to form the threader earring hooks.
The earrings measure in length 6.2cm.
The widest part of the earrings measures 2.9cm across.
The earrings are ready-made and can be dispatched between 1 - 3 days.
The earrings are hallmarked for their weight in solid sterling silver and 9ct gold, by Birmingham Assay Office.
The earrings are posted by Royal Mail special delivery.
The come sent in an earring box.
Thank you.
