I am enjoying producing snippet rolls - for use in scrapbooking, junk journallig, mixed media, collage and also for textile applications. The foundation of this pink cushion is two portions of a snippet roll, stitched together, and enhanced with hand made embellishments and hand embroidery. All but the two beads and some of the threads are recycled or vintage supplies.

A pretty pincushion, in a classic blue and white colour combination, featuring a posy of flowers, consisting of two suffolk puffs two lace ruffles, and a flower from a 'silk flower' spray, with beads, appliqued details and hand embroidery on a patchwork background.
The foundation of this pin cushion is two portions of a snippet roll, stitched together, and enhanced with hand made embellishments and hand embroidery. All but the beads and some of the threads are recycled or vintage supplies. The edges of the pincushion are pinked - the external seem being a feature of the design.
