Full description
This is a unique original colour pencil drawing of a chameleon climbing along a branch. Chameleons are a type of reptile well-known for being able to change their skin colour to camouflage them against their surroundings. This one is currently in a bright green pattern with yellow and blue stripes and spots. He is clinging to the stick with his strange clawed feet, his knees and elbows angled, walking along to the right. He has a curled-up tail hanging down, bulbous eyes which can swivel independently, and a crest on his head – all of which make him look like a miniature modern-day dinosaur.
Using artist-quality coloured pencils on heavy weight paper for a high-quality professional finish, the picture is presented in an off-white / pale cream colour mount, with a backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag. Measuring (with mount) 11” wide by 14” tall (image size 7” by 10”) - that’s approximately 28 by 35 (18 by 25) in cm - it will fit a readily-available standard-size frame.
