This medium heart pendant is part of my 'Blackwave' collection - The technique I have used to create the 3D domed quality and texture is called Repousse and involves hammering the metal with punches, this shapes and textures the metal at the same time. The Silver is then oxidised to create the dramatic dark colour contrast.

Full description
Handmade in our North Yorkshire studio, this Sterling Silver Pendant is part of my Blackwave Range. The pendant is a small heart shape which has been gently domed and textured using the technique of Repousse, soldered on the back there is a concealed silver tube that the chain is threaded through. The piece is Oxidised to create the two tone black and silver colour contrast. The drop hangs from a 16" Sterling Silver Snake Chain. The technique I use to create this jewellery is created by hand which means that each piece is unique.
