It was a chilly, overcast autumn day in the garden. We were walking under an apple tree when we looked up to see a bright red, slightly heart-shaped apple hanging from a high twig, framed by branches. It was such a striking pop of colour on a monochrome background that we felt we had to capture the moment somehow in a piece of jewellery. We decided to further stylise the apple shape, frame it in a contemporary shape as the surrounding branches did, but present it in silhouette, using an African Garnet Gemstone alongside to represent the colour. The matt finish is to further emphasise the overcast nature of the sky. As this was just one brief moment in time, we decided to make the piece even more special by making it a one-off to echo the sentiment.

Handmade in our Yorkshire studio, this unique, contemporary Necklace/Pendant is made from Sterling Silver with a cut out "Heart Apple" shape above a silver setting that houses a 3mm red African Garnet gemstone. The surface has a deliberately scratched matt finish. Comes with an attached Sterling Silver Curb Chain (Please select your desired chain length at checkout). The Pendant is created completely by hand, and is a one-off piece, therefore is unique.
