Welcome to Jackdaw Bindery - thank you so much for visiting! Here you will find a wonderful selection of hand-bound soft cover leather and cork wrap journals and sketchbooks, created using a range of hand selected materials. Each and every item that you find in my shop has been hand-bound by myself in my little studio in West Ashling, West Sussex on the South Coast of England.
All of the leather I use have been sourced as a by-product from the upholstery and automotive trade which may otherwise end up as waste. If you have an idea for a custom book, I would love work with you to create the perfect handbound journal for your needs, just get in touch and we can go from there!
I wanted to add a little bit of fun to a beautifully classic item - adding colourful rainbow pages to the leather cover was just the thing! I have been hand binding these rainbow journals for many years now and they continue to be forever popular, I hope you love them as much as I enjoy making them!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

These fun rainbow pages are enough to brighten even the greyest of days! Six pastel shades of pink, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple blend together beautifully, carefully bound by hand into a soft leather wrap around cover in a colour of your choice! Choose from a selection of page options and create something completely unique to you! You'll find all of my current leather and page options in the images, choose your faves and when you click on add to basket you can select them from the drop down menus.
This journal is A6 in size. It secures using a slither of leather attached to the cover flap which wraps around the journal and tucks in neatly to keep your work safe and sound whether you're at home or on the go!
