I began making miniature coastal scenes following a beachcombing trip to Morfa Beach in Conwy, north Wales. I was inspired by the colourful coastal cottages and the UK's smallest house that you can visit there. I also found an abundance of lovely chunky sea glass and pottery on the beach which I used in my early pieces, I have really enjoyed making them ever since that visit.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Lovingly handmade using reclaimed driftwood, genuine sea glass and reclaimed wood, this intricate coastal scene features a row of handpainted miniature cottages, creating a charming little seaside village full of warmth and character. Resting on natural driftwood with frosted sea glass below to represent the ocean, every detail has been carefully designed to evoke peaceful days spent beside the sea.
Each piece is created using reclaimed and sustainable materials. The cottages are individually painted and arranged by hand before being mounted onto reclaimed wood that has been carefully sanded, painted and varnished. Finishing touches of cork, twigs and moss add texture and depth, making this a truly unique piece of original artwork.
