This necklace is part of a collection using mother of pearl with red and gold beads. I wanted to create flexibility for the wearer to remove the pendant and still have a stunning piece of jewellery. I designed the focal component to show as much of the stunning gemstone as possible.

Full description
This beautiful beaded necklace with removable pendant features a Mother of Pearl gemstone surrounded by seed beads, firepolish crystals and teardrop shaped beads, with a hand stitched chain. The three different sizes of seed beads on the focal pendant are woven using peyote stitch and give a floral look to the piece, framing the gemstone beautifully. The twisted herringbone chain has a beaded toggle clasp and can be worn with or without the pendant.
This necklace is part of a collection called Mother Earth. I also have another different style of necklace available in my shop.
Measurements (approx):
The necklace measures 17 1/2 inches (44.5cm). The focal pendant is 1 3/8 inches (3.5cm) long and just under 1 inch (2.5cm) wide. The width of the chain is around 1/8 inch (3mm).
