I was working in my little market stall a while ago and a lady came in asking if I could make a picture of the 'nearly home' tree in Worcester. I confessed that I didn't know what she meant and then she explained about the tree on the hill you can see from the M5 and you know you are nearly home. I know this tree and I often think the same when I'm driving on the motorway but I didn't know it was an actual 'thing' and that other people thought it too. Looking it up, I can see there are lots of trees around the country and that they also have a name which is so lovely.

A really lovely mini pic of a little tree on a hill. The tree represents the 'Whittington Tump' which is in Worcestershire and for a lot of local people is an indicator that they are 'nearly home' :).
The design is created using a single piece of green sea glass collected from the beach at Seaham in the north east of England.
The picture is set within a shabby chic white frame measuring 10.5cm x 10.5cm (aperture is 6.5cm x 6.5cm) and there is a hook on the reverse for easy hanging.
