Handmade ceramic mermaid sculpture with light brown hair.
Can you allow yourself to be seduced by the mermaid's song?
This handmade ceramic mermaid sculpture is glazed with peachy pink, pale orange and yellow underglaze colours. Glossy glaze is applied to suggest that she has freshly emerged from the water, her tail shimmering behind her. Hand mixed glaze colours are mingling over her tail and scales and sea flowers cling to her tresses behind her.
Handbuilt stoneware sculptures decorated with incised marks and underglaze colours fired to 1160 degrees centigrade. Head/body approx 85mm tall, tail section 90mm tall.
