I love stitching little landscape scenes. This one on felt - some of the felt scraps are commercial offcuts. I love the tiny sheep and lambs!

Full description
A hand embroidered, spring, felt bookmark featuring a tree festooned with pretty pink blossom.
Scraps of green, lilac and white felt have been appliqued to a background of sky blue felt to produce a 'patchwork' of spring meadows. A tree has been added in hand embroidery and many pink blossoms have been stitched in french knots - some of them stitches in a vintage thread which has a lovely sheen. Tiny daisies in the grass complete the design.
The bookmark has been completed by the addition of green satin ribbon tails. The back of the bookmark has been neatened by a additional panel of felt. The edge of the bookmark has been finished by blanket stitch in pale blue and green cotton threads, corresponding to approproiate areas of the design.
Length of embroidered panel - 14 cm approx.
Total length - 20 cm approx.
