Walking on the hills on a windy day is an experience which involves all the senses! Your eyes for looking at the view. Your ears for the sounds about you. You might hear the cries of birds, but the overall experience is the sound of the wind. Sometimes it sighs, sometimes it sings, but often it roars & buffets your ears! There is physical experience too as it can vary from a warm gentle caress, to a sting on your face & often tries to push you off balance.
In this print I used the memories of just such a walk, to evoke the experience in an art work.
