Item details

A set of three lightly padded birds made snippets of leftover fabric in shades of pink and green. Use them as a hanging decoration, a gift tag for a special present or simply to cheer up your favourite notice board or shelf.

This particular set of birds has been made using leftover fabrics from my pink and green Happy Birthday bunting and would make a lovely co-ordinating decoration or gift tag.

Each bird has been created from odds and ends of leftover fabric and measures approximately 14cm from beak to tail. Each one is double sided and made from three different co-ordinating patterns which have been cut out by hand. They contain a layer of polyester wadding to create a padded effect and have a hanging loop made from garden twine.

As the birds are made out of recycled oddments of fabric, patterns may vary slightly depending upon what I have available at any one time.

The birds are packaged in biodegradable cellophane packaging which is recyclable and compostable.

Please note that this is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of babies and small children.

I love finding ways to repurpose little odds and ends of fabric and so trialled these little birds last year. They have proved hugely popular particularly at Christmas, whether dangling from a tree, twirling on a shelf or decorating a special gift. This year I have launched a new range of 'Happy Birthday' bunting and thought co-ordinating birds would make a lovely addition to any birthday celebration
