Full description

This dagger like pendant has an elongated drop of Cornish surfite bezel set in sterling silver, the drop is mounted pointy end down and has a double ring bail. The surfite has vertical stripes in shades of blue and green with a little bit of deepest darkest red (it looks almost black until you start cutting it and then you get red sawdust). The pendant measures approx 50mm top to bottom and 12 mm across, it comes with an 18 inch silver snake chain.

This surfite comes from Cornwall and is a build up of cured resin that forms during surfboard manufacture making these earrings a great gift for a surfer. I cut this particular material myself and you can see the original block and a work in progress shot in the photos (the rough isn't included), the rough material came from Toy Factory Surfboards in Newquay, Cornwall. Love the idea of surfite but want something different then drop me a message - I've got plenty of the rough left!
