I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use either special delivery or track 24 so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). Full description
This unisex pendant features a freeform shape of corvette fordite bezel set in sterling silver and finished with an oversized loop bail. The fordite measures 41mm by 21mm across excluding the generously sized bail (about 55mm with the loop and bail details), it comes with an 18 inch silver snake chain but could easily fit a leather thong if you wanted to swap it over. Corvette fordite is characterised by a warm colour palette of reds and yellows, this piece has a central splash of sparkly silver and black within the pattern of whorls.
Fordite is layers of over spray paint that built up in spray booths at car plants, it gets cured in between each layer making it a robust material that can be cut and polished to show off the differently coloured layers. I cut and polished this cabochon myself from a lump of rough material obtained from the Corvette factory in Bowling Green plant in Kentucky so this is an ideal gift for all the muscle car fans out there. This fordite dates to post 2010 but I have older material from different factories in my collection so if you are after something else please drop me a message.
