Full description

This kit has been designed for Dorset button makers who wish to try something other than the cross wheel design. The kit is also suitable for beginners with no previous experience of making Dorset buttons.

Everything you need is provided in the kit, which contains:

a 32 mm hollow brass ring,

a suitable needle,

a square of Liberty tana lawn fabric in the design ‘Mark’

red coloured cotton thread to match fabric,

strong thread,

suitable stuffing

and full instructions, both written and pictorial.

The finished button can be used as a feature button on a garment or bag or you may like to finish it with a brooch pin on the back and wear it.
