Fluorite has been called 'the most colourful mineral in the world' because it can be found in all colours of the spectrum.
A translucent stone, the most commonly found shades are green, purple, yellow, and blue.
Fluorite was associated with the Roman goddess Minerva, Goddess of Wisdom.
It was thought that Fluorite stimulated the brain cells, enabling the two hemispheres of the brain to work in harmony, bringing clarity and calm.
I love these fluorite beads with their almost luminous translucency and gorgeous range of colours, and the carved briolette is stunning.
The shiny hematite sets them off beautifully.

Full description
This striking necklace features a 40mm x 8mm carved rainbow fluorite drop pendant with bands of lilac, yellow and pink colour.
I have used 4mm x 13mm hematite tubes and 6mm rainbow fluorite rounds, graduating to 4mm rainbow fluorite and 4mm x 2mm hematite beads.
The fluorite beads are beautifully translucent colours of varying shades of green and purple.
Between the larger hematite tubes I have placed 7mm Tibetan flower beads (lead and nickel free) with an antique gold finish.
The necklace is finished with a gold filled trigger clasp.
This necklace measures approximately 18 inches (46cm).
Presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
Delivery is free within the UK.
