I found this stone in Cascais in Portugal, as we were walking alongside the ocean on my birthday. When I am at the seaside I usually look for unusual stones, sea glass so that I can then turn them into something wearable. This day was no exception, as I was soaking in the sun. The white marble stone beneath the modern painting, was a shard that was shaped and polished by the sea.
The motif on the front was inspired by the journey of the YOSOY path, during the year I joined hundreds of people globally in meditation as we tried to rebalance our inner world. In a world where crisis upon crisis were taking place in 2020-2021, we chose to do introspection work.
The proceeds from the sale of this item will go to a project that wishes to help restore the Osireion Temple in Abydos Egypt.

Full description
Eco jewellery can be made from a variety of materials. This pendant is re-using a shard of marble I found in Portugal. The decoration on the stone is hand painted using acrylic and varnished with clear varnish to set the paint. The marble piece that was shaped and polished by the ocean has now been turned into a wearable art piece.
The shard is wire wrapped in tarnish resistant silver plated copper, creating a tuely unique piece.
The inspiration for this piece was the meditation and the exploration of the yosoy path.
The pendant is 7.5 cm in lenght and is 3.5 cm in width and will come with a 62cm chain and will be packaged in an organza pouch.
