Postal Delivery Duties Paid (PDDP) is a service whereby duties are handled by Royal Mail and the overseas delivery partner so that the recipient does not incur any additional cost at the doorstep. Instead, VAT and duties are calculated and collected at the point of sale and paid to the relevant tax authorities locally via Royal Mail.
If I overcharge on postage I will refund the excess.

I've been approached many times by customers requesting a keepsake bear made from their loved ones clothing. After having made a number of them over the past few years I've now decided to offer this in my Folksy shop. My customers have always been delighted with their finished bear, if I don't think I can work with a particular choice of fabric I will always discuss this with you. If you would like to enquire please drop me a message using the contact button in my shop, then once you are happy to go ahead you can use this listing to secure your order.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Deposit for a Made to order Memory Bear created from customers own fabrics, Custom Order Keepsake Teddy Bears
This listing is for the deposit for a custom order memory bear, would you like a lasting memory from a loved ones clothing or a keepsake gift using fabrics of your own choice.
An 11" traditional style bear as shown.
Handmade from customers donated fabric with all pieces being lined to stabilise using my cotton fabric. Bear will be 5 way jointed with safety eyes and embroidered nose.
A plain bear made from customers donated fabric, any extras i.e. embroidery, dungarees or waistcoat to be discussed prior to ordering, these may be subject to a small price increase.
The images are my most recent memory bears, prices are dependant on the amount of work and a full quote will be given, an average bear is £65.00 plus postage.
You will be required to post your fabrics to me and I will let you know when they have safely arrived and keep you informed throughout the making process.
Each bear takes a minimum of one full week to make, I will need to allow a 2 week time frame to finish your bear but this is also dependant on workload at the time of ordering.
Some fabrics may be unsuitable for making a bear, i,e, fine lace, chiffon etc but may be used for little finishing touches or extras.
All work to be discussed by email, once you are happy to go ahead please pay the deposit for work here, the balance due will be required once your bear is complete.
