Full description
These textured buttons were handcrafted and fired in my small home studio. The texture was created using home made stamps and finished with a sapphire float glaze which is a lovely glossy denim blue, breaking brown over the the texture. As each individual button is handcrafted, no two buttons will be exactly the same.
The buttons are approximately 27mm in diameter and 2-3mm thick.
The buttons are bisque fired before being glazed. They are then fired a second time to stoneware temperature which gives them great strength and allows them to be machine washed. The sides and backs are not glazed, leaving them with a natural ceramic finish.
