Here are some things just listed by other crafters and sellers on Folksy.
I started getting into ceramics a few years ago and loved it enough to buy myself a small kiln, but have only recently had the time to really get stuck into it. I really love the feel of the clay and the way my mind unwinds when I start to work with it, much as it did as a child when I used to make models with plasticine. I’m a keen gardener, and have a small business selling plants, so initially my inspiration was to press flowers and seeds heads into clay to make different textures and shapes. As I started to understand a little more about underglazes and glazes it led me to want to try other things, and now I can’t stop trying different things. I’m inspired by things I see when I’m out and about, things I find in drawers, old buttons, packaging, memories - just about anything. Some things work, some things not so much. It’s all part of the fun!
