Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
One of my very own designs, new for Spring 2021, and I think it is quite stunning and very special.
It is a 'picture' of a tree, a Tree of Life, bursting into life with its rainbow coloured leaves spreading to edge of the picture.
At the base is a green textured bank.
The picture is framed in clear glass with a very pretty texture. It's then strengthened with a border of twisted wire.
This is beautifully bright, simple and cheerful and casts lovely colours when it hangs in the light of a window.
It is 16.25cm wide by 18.5cm high and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.
My pieces are all unique. I use different shades and textures of glass to ensure that everything I make, even when to the same pattern, is different.
