Full description
This is the Female Big-headed Mining Bee or Andrena bucephala and she is built into this beautiful turned wooden pot.
She is made of needlefelted wool and stitched vintage thread and she has lovely colourful stitched wings and legs.
I do have other bees left from the four exhibitions. Much of these have been shared via the FIFTY BEES Instagram page.
