She is 3 x the actual size of the real bee. She is made from wool and vintage threads and sculpted into a cream vintage jewellery box, probable a ring box.
The Fifty Bees Project is a unique and creative initiative by British artist Lydia Needle, aiming to raise awareness about the diversity of British bee species and their critical role in the environment.
