The original was planned as a Christmas / Winter festival card design. I used polychromos artists coloured pencils to draw the picture. I used black, blue,and indigo shades to bring the bird to life and show the light reflecting on the feathers. Paint and ink splashes were added at the end. I used some gold ink to give the composition a seasonal feel.

Full description
An open edition signed high quality print of an original drawing of a blackbird with holly. The original was drawn using polychromos artists colouring pencil with drawing inks and finished with some ink and paint splashes. Each print is professionally mounted and cellophane wrapped.
Measurements
Including the mount the print is 305mm x 410mm ( 16 x 12 inches)
The print will be wrapped in tissue and packed in a sturdy box with ' signed for' delivery
