Welcome to Janiemade and my little corner of Folksy where you can buy my crocheted creations. If you're looking for skilfully handmade gifts and home decor I hope you'll find something you love. I enjoy crocheting with natural fibres, mainly cotton, and many of my home decor items use recycled braided cotton cord or recycled cotton T shirt yarn. All items are ready to post and I only charge postage on your first item. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

I've recently discovered crocheting with chunky macrame cord and I'm loving making baskets and containers with it. I love how you can clearly see every stitch that went into creating an item and it's a nice change to make something in 3D that's not a toy!

Full description
A useful sized round crocheted bowl in Steel Grey with a top edge detail in Kiwi. Made with a high quality recycled cotton braided cord which has a polyester core. The bowl is sturdy yet flexible and keeps its shape. The cord gives great definition to the crochet stitches used to create it. Crocheted in moss stitch that gives the bowl a woven type texture on the sides.
It's a good size to be used as a small fruit bowl or is equally useful as bathroom storage.
Measurements: Approximately 15cm diameter across the bottom and 12cm wide at the top and 8cm in height.
Care instructions: I recommend a gentle surface clean with a damp cloth to remove dust but item may be carefully washed by hand at 30C, reshape whilst damp. Do not bleach; Do not iron; Do not tumble dry.
