The original design was created from a set of baubles I printed last December (one per day) and to me, express the joyfulness and celebratory nature of this time of year.
The background was specifically painted onto watercolour paper for these cards. See my work-in-progress photos and some of the original bauble prints.
Each bauble print measures 6 x 7cm and was carved for an Instagram challenge CarveDecember.

Celebrate Christmas and the holiday season with a bundle of cards featuring a joyful, colourful design.
Each card has the same design, a tree shaped out of baubles.
Please choose 5 or 10 cards from the dropdown menu.
The cards
- measure 15 x 15cm square
- come with a kraft brown envelope
- are blank inside for your own message
- are printed on recycled card in the UK from my original designs.
- are 'naked' i.e. they don't come in a cello bag, instead they have a card clasp (100% recyclable) to securely hold the envelope with the card
- feature my details on the back, along with the design name and JustACard's details (see example in the last photo)
- are bound together with ribbon
- will arrive securely and safely wrapped in a reused envelope.
Recycling, reducing plastic use and sustainability are very important in my creative work.
In searching for a printer I wanted to ensure they offered good quality prints on recycled cardstock, and I'm delighted with this UK printer Sixprint.
The cards are securely packed and sent by post in a reused envelope, ensuring they will arrive in good condition. They may not look the prettiest packaging, but I don't want to add unnecessarily to recycling waste. I'm aiming for function, and reusing where I can.
