I've always been inspired by the old medieval illuminated manuscripts, particularly the borders. This is where the inspiration came from for this piece. The words are from my own poem and this uses all my favourite colours, jewel like blues, greens and purples. Each element of the original is cut out by hand, each letter, each flower and leaf, then laid onto a backing paper and glued in place. I used deli paper for the background colours which has a lovely translucence. They are coloured with ink pads.

This sale is for one sample print of my Love Deeply, Live Lightly, Let Go Happily paper collage.
The words come from one of my own poems.
Please note the size is 26.5 x 20.5 cm - smaller than my actual collage which is 38 x 29 cm.
There is nothing amiss with this print, it's just a sample that I've decided to release from my stock. This is a high quality print on the same textured paper as my prints.
The original collage depicts lettering and some squares of floral and leafy shapes reminiscent of medieval illuminated manuscripts.
The photos show the sample for sale, including size. The last 4 images are from my original work in progress, showing some details before the background colour was added using coloured deli paper which is translucent. The final image became my business card.
The print will be posted securely wrapped in an eco-friendly manner, reusing a packaging envelope.
