March Birthstone - Aquamarine
April Birthstones - Diamond and Quartz

In late August and September, the heather starts to bloom amongst the gorse up on Dartmoor, near my home.
The tors at this time of year can appear dark grey, reflecting the sky, and setting off the bright pink-and-purple colours of the heather.
It's a beautiful time of year for walking - not too hot and very picturesque.

Full description

I have added this bracelet to the 'Seconds Sunday' sale - it is in perfect condition, but is an old line, and I need to clear some older stock to make way for new lines.

Vivid Swarovski 8mm flower crystal and sparkly 4mm bicones in Fuchsia pink bring out the colour of the ruby in these 6mm ruby-in-zoisite beads.

Gunmetal hematite accentuates the black speckles amongst the green and pink.

Also known as Anyolite, from the native Maasai for green, ruby in zoisite was first "discovered" in 1954 inTanzania.

(One assumes the Maasai were already well aware of its existence!)

The green elements are zoisite, the deep pink is ruby and the black hornblende.

The ruby found in Anyolite is not of gem quality.

It has a good colour, but shatters if cut into gemstones.

Ruby in Zoisite is considered an alternative birthstone for Aries and April.

This stretch bracelet measures approximately 8 inches (20cm)

Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and sent in a pre-used padded envelope.

Delivery is free within the UK.
