These minimalist sterling silver stud earrings feature tiny spiral snail shells cast by hand in recycled fine silver and soldered to chunky 1.2 mm thick square backs of sterling silver measuring 8 mm by 8mm. They are fastened with posts and sterling silver ear scrolls for security. They have been oxidised black to bring out the fine details in these exquisite shells from snails native to the chalk downlands of Sussex. Perfect for people who love to collect small ephemeral things from the natural world.
