I love Curlews, they are beautiful wading birds and I hear them flying over our home in Yorkshire every spring when they leave their winter coastal feeding ground to breed in upland Yorkshire. Whenever I hear their call it reminds me of childhood family holidays in the west coast of Scotland when we used to go camping and heard the call of the Curlew most mornings.

Full description
This is a limited edition original Linocut print of a Curlew set in the moorland backdrop of the North Yorkshire Moors, one of it’s summer breeding grounds.
Hand printed in my home studio in Yorkshire, using a rich dark chestnut brown relief printing ink, onto Fabriano archival and acid free 50% cotton printmaking paper.
There are 80 prints in this limited print edition.
Prints come mounted in an acid free mount and backing board ready to frame and are presented in a plastic free presentation folder with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This print measures 20.3cm x 20.3 cm (8”x8”) in total when mounted and will fit in a 8”x8” picture frame (frame aperture size).
