I’d an idea for making a hen suncatcher and after some doodling this is what I came up with. I think this is quite a fun little bird.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled, soldered together and washed again. The eye and legs have been made from tinned copper wire.
I have two white/red hens, the glass used for this bird is a white streaky sea glass, red sea glass for the comb, orange glass for the beak and red textured glass for the wing and tail.
I will supply one window hook so you can hang your hen as soon as it is received. Please remember to wet the plunger before pushing firmly onto the window.
I will send this as a large letter, in a box which will go through your letterbox so there’s no worry about missing the postman.
