I have made up two of these sweet vintage samplers for my Folksy shop, but this unfinished one, with its corner showing the iron on transfer is so poignant.

Full description
This little storage bag is perfect for mementoes or make up. I have sewn it from a small sampler of vintage embroidery, which illustrates the iconic victorian lady in her crinoline, tending her flowers. This beautifully worked little piece is still in amazing condition. There is an unfinished corner revealing the iron on transfer, which adds to its poignancy. The tight stitches are in an unusual rust and yellow combination, and there is a little flower head zip pull. I have added a finger hook so you can hang up this little bag as a piece of art work in its own right. This sweet little period piece would make a lovely present for someone learning to embroider, anyone who loves the social history of vintage textiles, or as a wedding present.
The embroidery has been backed onto cotton to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag.
The back is made from recycled blue denim, and the lining is a vintage patterned cotton.
The purple zip is 20 cm long, and has a flower head pull.
The width is 20 cm and the height is 18 cm and there is a finger hook to the RHS corner.
The bottom left corner is unfinished, revealing the iron on transfer.
It is finished off with my own embroidered label.
I like to recycle, your little bag will be posted out using clean, recycled packaging from my hoard, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
