I have been listening to Radio 2 on Friday mornings as they visit gardens around the country. Each visit has been accompanied by a bee expert. I have learnt so much about bees - the best plants for attracting bees, how to put out water for them and so much about solitary bees. It inspired me to look up images of solitary bees and create my wool picture.

Full description
A wool picture of a solitary bee worked using unspun wool fibre and jabbed gently onto a piece of reclaimed wool mix fabric.
I've left this bee picture unframed. You can place it in a frame or use in a craft project - sew it onto a bag, an item of clothing or a cushion.
The piece of reclaimed fabric is from a suit jacket and has an interface backing giving a good base if you want to use in a craft project.
Measures 5 x 4 ins.
