Full description
Bee tote bag with floral bee. This lovely tote bag is made from sturdy pale blue fabric with an appliqué bee. The bee is made from black fabric with white polka dots and has hand-embroidered antennae. Its wings are made from white voile on which I've hand-embroidered white lazy daisies. I've made the bee's stripes by adding hand-stitched embellishments including felt flowers in two shades of yellow, topped with gold and copper coloured flower-shaped sequins. I've also added a scattering of faux pearl beads in yellow and caramel. The bag is lined with golden-yellow fabric with a lovely sheen.
This versatile bag is perfect as a shopping bag, handbag or for all sorts of other uses. The beautiful floral embellishments give a delightful twist to the bee design. The bag would be perfect for anyone who loves bees and nature, and would make a lovely gift.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (36cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are approx. 24 inches (60cm) from end to end and are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or carried as a handbag.
