Full description
This framed felt monochrome abstract picture is one of a series available in my shop. Included in Seconds Sunday as an end of line item. The picture has been hand felted using merino wool fibres as a background with various natural and synthetic fibres and fabrics added to the surface to provide texture and detail. Further detail has been added using hand stitching in black and white threads. The picture is open to your own interpretation and can be hung in any orientation as illustrated in the photos - the choice is yours.
The resulting artwork is rich in texture. The felt art measures approximately 9cm x 9cm (3.5" x 3.5") and it has been mounted on white card in a square black frame. The frame is unglazed allowing the texture of the piece to be clearly visible. The frame has both a hanging hook and prop stand on the reverse.
