Full description
A lovely monochrome abstract that is full of detail and texture. This picture measures approximately 3.5" x 3.5" and is mounted on white card, framed in a black 5" x 5" frame. The picture has been formed by wet felting several layers of merino wool fibres overlaid with various plant, animal and synthetic fibres and cotton and silk fabric pieces. Once felted further detail and texture has been added by the means of hand embroidery stitches. This is one of a series of monochrome abstracts, rich in texture and open to your own interpretation. It can be hung in any orientation as demonstrated in the pictures. Why not create a stunning montage with 2,3, 4 or more pictures from this series.
Please note the frame is unglazed allowing the texture of the piece to be clearly visible. The frame has both a hanging hook and prop stand on the reverse.
